2026-05-20 PickeringMSC End of 2025/26 Season Updates

Well, another season for the Pickering Master Swim Club is coming to a close

Please note the following:

  • The last day for the Spring session will be Saturday, May 30th at Dunbarton. Typically, PMSC members have gone to the Pickering Rec Complex (AKA  https://www.pickering.ca/parks-recreation-culture/chestnut-hill-developments-recreation-complex/  to continuing swimming over the summer. The swim times would be 9:00 – 10:00 pm during public lane swim on Tuesdays / Thursdays. Someone will usually bring a workout or get one from https://pickeringmsc.ca/members/ and look in calendar for workouts done during the season.
  • Please note that Dave and Andy will be away beginning Thursday May 21, 2026 through June 3, 2026 for Dave and June 11, 2026 for Andy. Please contact PMSC executive member Mathura Sabanayagam if you have any questions. She can be contacted at mathura03@hotmail.com. If there are any issues such as a pool shutdown, Mathura will send a message via social media (club WhatsApp) Pickering Masters 2025-2026 Season this can be access via PC or Apple or Android Phone. Also check our Facebook group PickeringMSC FB Group (just X at prompt to bypass FB Login). Mathura will also be monitoring our mailbox at membership@PickeringMSC.ca.
  • Coach Rene St. Aubin will be offering a free stroke clinic on June 14, 2026. All members and non-members are welcome. Information is available at https://pickeringmsc.ca/clinics/ or go directly to  https://pickeringmsc.ca/membership/  Scroll to Swim Sessions and select Stroke Improvement Clinic and Follow prompts. It should be noted that you must be registered with the club for insurance reasons.  If you have already registered, you should be able to review your enrollment.
  • End of the season party Friday June 19, 2026. Further details are to be announced shortly.
  • Mark your calendar: the first swim for the Fall season will be on Monday, September 14th [check]. Sign-up notices will be sent out during the summer.
